AWS EC2 instance events

AWS EC2 instance events provide a history of all actions taken on an instance, including instance state changes, system events, and instance performance events. This allows you to troubleshoot issues, monitor instance activity, and optimize performance.

AWS EC2 instance events are available at no additional charge. You can view up to the last 14 days of events for a given instance.

AWS EC2 instance events include the following:

Instance state changes: These events include instance launches, terminations, and stops.

System events: These events include instance reboots, instance status checks, and network interface changes.

Instance performance events: These events include CPU utilization, disk read/write operations, and network traffic.

You can view AWS EC2 instance events using the AWS Management Console, the AWS SDKs, or the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI).
